Privacy, in plain language.

Last updated September 2026. This page explains what this website does with your information, and what it deliberately does not do.

What we collect directly

This website has no accounts and no contact forms, so we do not collect your name, email or phone number through it. If you email us or message us on WhatsApp, we receive what you send us and keep it only as long as needed to serve you.

Reservations

Reservations are handled by OpenTable. When you book, OpenTable collects your details under its own privacy policy, and shares the reservation with us. We use it to hold your table. Their policy is at opentable.ca.

Ordering and delivery

Pickup orders run through Toast. Delivery orders run through UberEats, DoorDash or SkipTheDishes. Corporate catering runs through Food Mamba. Each of those services is its own company with its own privacy policy, and each collects what it needs to fulfil your order.

The map

The map on our Visit page is served by OpenStreetMap. It loads from their servers when the page loads, which means they will see your IP address. We do not send them anything else.

Cookies

This website itself sets no cookies and runs no advertising trackers. Some of the third parties above, in particular OpenTable and the map provider, may set their own cookies when their content loads. You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings at any time, and the site will still work.

Analytics

We measure visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless. It reports aggregate numbers such as page views and load times. It does not identify you and does not follow you across other websites.

Your rights

Under Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA) you may ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to us at beirutbodega@gmail.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Keeping information safe

We keep as little as possible. Reservation and order data sits with the platforms that run those services. Anything you send us directly stays in our inbox and is not sold, rented or shared for marketing.
